The last of a species, caught on film

Last Tasmaniean Tiger, Thylacine, 1933

Information from the comments section.

It's not a male and it was never called Benjamin. ALL of that was made up by a drunkard who never worked at the Hobart Zoo and just wanted attention. It was a female and it never had a name. This was confirmed by it's last keeper, Alison Reid.See Robert Paddle's "The Last Tasmanian Tiger".The fetus is not in Tasmania, it's in Sydney at the Australian Museum. If you ask, they'll tell you where it is. It's not a secret.Best bit about this film - the female bit the cameraman on the arse shortly after the end of this recording.

Reports have been coming for nearly a month of unusual numbers of seals, both dead and alive, turning up along Labrador’s north and south coast. These seals were spotted close to shore in Cartwright. There, residents have seen a mixture of seals, dead and alive, come close to shore. Conservation officers have explained the unusual appearance of dead seals as being as result of early births. Seal pups were born as much as three months early as a result of unusually warm weather for the time of year. Warm weather and open waters have also enabled some live seals to get closer to shore.
